De Salaberry District Health Centre News

A mock disaster is being staged at the De Salaberry District Health Centre by the Emergency Operations and Response Teams to test the community’s emergency plan. The mock event, which will be a mass casualty scenario, will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 from approximately 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The following organizations will be participating in the exercise: De Salaberry District Health Centre, École Communautaire Réal-Bérard from DSFM, St-Pierre and St. Malo Fire Departments, RCMP and Provincial Emergency Response Services. Although it’s tempting to come out and watch the event, the public is strongly advised to stay clear and allow volunteers and responders to do their jobs. We apologize for any inconvenience this event may cause and ask for your cooperation and patience while our teams work through the scenario.
